Telegram blocking bypass through VPN

Lock bypass via SOCKS 5
SOCKS 5 – a protocol that conducts traffic through mediation server. The option is available for desktop versions of Telegram, and appears in the mobile application with the next update.
It should be understood that SOCKS 5 is not the most reliable workaround. Telegram did not position this method as an option bypassing all locks, the developers simply said that this option available. Using it is not very convenient, but if you really want to, then you can try.
- Open the settings of the desktop version of the messenger and find “Advanced Settings”.
- Change Connection type to “TCP socks5 proxy “(TCP with custom socks5-proxy).
- Enter the proxy address and port. We recommend using American, German, Swedish or English proxies.
- It remains to check the box “Use IPv6” (Try connecting through IPv6) and save the settings.

Install Telegram after removal from the App Store and Google Play
